COOL Outing - Lai Chi Wo Experiential Day Camp

FoE (HK) invites everyone to enjoy in nature and experience the traditional Hakka culture and cuisine and learn about the sustainable lifestyle!
Lai Chi Wo Village is a traditional Hakka village which had over 300 years history located inside the UNESCO Global Geopark. By joining our experiential day camp, participants enjoyed a boat trip for appreciating the coastal landforms and observing the geology and rocks along the National Geopark of Hong Kong; and experienced the traditional Hakka culture.
The Faculty of Social Sciences at The University of Hong Kong launched a multi-year programme "Living Water & Community Revitalisation – An Agricultural-led Action, Engagement and Incubation Programme at Lai Chi Wo”, to promote the sustainable development of Lai Chi Wo through farming revitalisation and conservation of a traditional Hakka village. The guided tour was led by The University of Hong Kong.
