COOL Corporate - Half day tour to Chinese Herb Garden and Natural Plant Tie-Dye workshop

The "Green Tour to Lo Wai Chinese Herb Garden” for COOL Corporate members has been held on 19 May,2018. The Chinese Herb Garden is located in the southern foot hill of the Tai Mo Shan Country Park, which was an abandoned piece of grassland in the past. It was renewed by HKSKH Lady MacLehose Centre and funded by HK Jockey Club. The tour is divided into two parts, which includes a short tour in the garden and the Natural Plant Tie-Dye workshop. "Tie-Dye” is the process of dyeing the cloth in a boiled herb which contains the dye color. The cloth is selectively tied  and soaked in the mixture of dye for about 20 minutes. Our members has dyed both red and yellow colored cloths with their creatively tied cloth.
